I picked up this book months ago when it was on free Kindle download days and it set on my Kindle waiting for me to get around too. Never again will I wait when I see another of VanHatten's titles come up on the download days. This was a happy surprise because I really enjoyed meeting these characters and how each fit into the others lives as the story unfolded. Not realizing this was a series of books and jumping into the series at book 4 the story carried along nicely as a stand alone story. I look forward to reading more of these books and getting a fuller picture of the beginnings and later mysteries. I liked the twists and was pleasantly surprised with the outcomes of several characters. The author presented fresh ideas and story angles that made this mystery telling unique and I found myself devouring the book in a matter of hours - time well spent.Product details

I loved this book! I took it on a business trip to read on the plane and found that I didn't want to put it down. It was suspenseful with unexpected twists that were brilliantly crafted. The characters are so well-developed that you feel you know them personally. Bravo, Wendy! This book is a must read!!!!
I love Wendy VanHatten's books. I have read them all and have loved them all but have to say I feel this is the best one yet. I love the characters, the plot, the images that come to mind as I'm reading. It really kept me wanting more. Wanting to know what was going to happen next. If you are looking for intrigue, mystery with some fun thrown in, this is the book for you! I had a very difficult time putting it down. I highly recommend Wendy's books!
